I consider myself more as an illustrator than painter or sculpture. Always animated by the same passion, I go from naive to realism, passing by abstraction, and finally to decorative. David James is a sculptor who works in glass and stone. His cast glass works have been selected for the international surveys of glass art: 500 Glass Objects, published by Lark Books, U.S. and The Contemporary Art Glass of the World, Hebei Fine Art Publishing, China. His pieces in stone are monumental, weighing more than 700 kilograms and are destined for vantage points in the outdoors.
